This tutorial guides you through updating product prices and changing your store's currency on Shopify. You'll learn how to adjust product pricing directly on your Shopify store and understand the essential steps to modify your store's currency settings, ensuring changes are correctly applied.
To accurately update the prices of your products, these changes must be made directly within your Shopify store admin. Dropmagic displays the prices as they are set on Shopify but does not modify them.
Ensure the product you wish to update is published on your Shopify store.
Log in to your Shopify admin and navigate to Products.
Select the product you want to edit and change its price directly there.
While Dropmagic allows you to view products in various currencies, changing the currency display within Dropmagic will not affect your actual store currency on Shopify. To change the currency of your products and store, you must do so directly in your Shopify admin.
From your Shopify admin, click on Settings in the bottom-left corner.
Click on General.
In the Store currency section, click the three dots (...) and select Change store currency.
From the dropdown menu, select your desired currency (e.g., US Dollar, Euro, etc.).
Click Save to apply the changes.
Once saved on Shopify, return to your Dropmagic page and reload it. The product prices will now reflect the newly selected currency from your Shopify store.
By following these steps, you can effectively manage both your product prices and your store's currency directly within Shopify, ensuring consistency and accuracy across your e-commerce platform and Dropmagic.
